No Brainer

Hollywood is perplexed by the unfavorable revenues they're getting at box offices. Movies like "Basic Instinct 2" and many others are reaping poor rewards.

Paul Verhoeven, the director of the first "Basic Instinct" said "Anything that is erotic has been banned in the United States. Look at the people at the top (of the government). We are living under a government that is constantly hammering out Christian values. And Christianity and sex have never been good friends." This quote was taken from Reuters.

Paul Verhoeven has no clue what true Christian values are or how sex was and is intended to be used and enjoyed.

Sex was designed by God as a way to procreate. He also designed it to be enjoyed, one man being married to one woman out of love for one another, not out of lust. Sex is something people should hail as sacred, but Hollywood thinks differently.

Thanks to Hollywood's interpretation of life and love, the town where movie stars hop in and out of bed with one another as often as chickens lay egss, sex is seen by the masses as something everyone should be doing as often as they like, with whomever they like, as often as they like, however they like. Sadly, people buy into it all.

Hollywood actors and actresses should in no way be revered as role models in life. Hollywood actors and actresses know nothing of the true meaning of wedding vows, for better or for worse. There's always someone better and the worse can never be worked out. Infidelity runs rampant in Hollywood. Couples marry, divorce and remarry so often marriage has lost its value. There is nothing sacred about matrimony in Hollywood. Actors and actresses read their vows like a line they read in a movie, they say the words but it's all fake.

Hollywood is not the real world and the real world needs to remember that. Yet, the world has believed what Hollywood has depicted on the big screen and TV as the Gospel for so long that the very lifestyles they have portrayed onscreen have become a way of life for so many. Hollywood paints such beautiful pictures of their skewed interpretations of sex, love, life and marriage and it's sickened society.

Movies coming out of Hollywood are getting more graphic and immoral. They warp the way God intended life to be lived and enjoyed. Finally though, people are starting to take notice.

What Paul Verhoeven and other Hollywood directors are really getting steamed about is the fact that the films they are producing, films no one in their right mind should be proud of creating or acting in, aren't bringing in the big bucks to fatten their already gaping wallets. They are feeling the pinch where it hurts, and the government and Christians aren't the only ones contributing to the pain. It's the whole world.

The world is fed up with Hollywood!

Maybe Hollywood will finally wake up and see the need to produce movies that glorify life and love instead of death and destruction, but I doubt it.
