I listened to Senator Joseph Biden’s comments on Barack Obama and believe most people would say that he probably didn’t mean anything derogatory towards Mr. Obama. I’m a Republican and don’t think he meant anything derogatory towards Mr Obama. But I can see a great opportunity for people to take what he’s said and turn it into a huge mess.

If Senator Biden had been a Republican, you could bet your boots that the media and Democrats would be having a hissy fit right now and be demanding Senator Biden to step down from his position as Senator. The media and liberals would be producing story after story about Mr Biden being a racist, insensitive bigot, KKK sponsor, an idiot, facist, Nazi, and who knows what other lovely titles they’d be giving him to slander him without really illegally slandering him.

People like to take what someone else has said and blow it out of proportion. They see a slip of the tongue and use it to their advantage knowing full well that it wasn’t meant in a wrong way. But they don’t care. They see the faux pas as an opportunity to get the upperhand.

If you look at the media coverage of the matter, the media is utilizing the popularity of the issue to get good ratings still, but they’re not covering it in a negative light like they would be if he were a Republican.
