McCain is a Liberal in Republican Clothing

Who will be the next US President? Is it going to be Clinton, Obama, McCain, Romney or Huckabee?

Huckabee truthfully does not seem to have a chance considering the number of delegates pledged his way. The only true possible Republican candidates - and I use the word true loosely here - are John McCain and Mitt Romney.

Romney is the closest candidate to a true Republican. But McCain, however, if anyone considers his past, should be listed as a Democrat, not a Republican. His voting record over the years has been more liberal than conservative. His Conservativism is a guise.

John McCain is using his being a war veteran and Conservative stances on few issues to run as a Republican candidate. He is the most liberal Republican running for office, and may very well be getting all his support from the Left instead of the right.

McCain was against the Bush Tax Cuts, has attacked Free Speech and skewed the political process, voted for more Gun Restrictions and joined Ted Kennedy to sponsor Amnesty for illegal aliens. And to show just how Liberal he truly is, he was considered as a running mate for John Kerry, who is as Liberal as anyone can be, not withstanding Ted Kennedy.

With McCain leading as the possible Republican candidate, it seems the Liberals are in a win-win situation. Either way they vote, whether they vote Republican or Democrat, they will most likely get someone in office that will push their Liberal agendas forward.

Even though I do not really like Romney, I would rather him be in office than McCain. But then, he is not my Republican of choice.

Can we throw all the candidates back in the water and try and fish out some other candidates?
