Barack Obama has been called many things, but I don’t think he’s been called a magician yet. However, those that he has used to spin documentaries into commercials promoting him as a better candidate than John McCain are probably calling him other names than a magician right now.

A recent video has come out using Israeli officials to promote Obama as a better successor than John McCain. But according to the Israeli officials, their interviews were taken out of context and used in ways contradictory to what they actually said.

The officials were told they were being interviewed for a documentary dealing with issues the new American president must deal with regarding the Middle East. When asked about the US Presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama, they complimented both candidates, but refrained from criticism because they felt anything said would have been inappropriate.

Yet, when the video aired, their statements were taken out of context and used in ways to promote Senator Obama never using any of the compliments said toward John McCain.

The film company, Revised Films, says

“Our firm is an independent company that created a clip that was composed of interviews with senior Israeli security officials, and whose subject was the American policy regarding Israel, in light of the upcoming elections in the United States, while focusing on the two central candidates for president, and Barack Obama.

“The Obama campaign was not involved during any stage of the production, or [the film's] distribution. After the film was completed, the Jewish Council for Education & Research, took charge of the film and used it.”

If you watch the film, it is clear that the film was not being used as a documentary in any way, shape or form, but to promote Barack Obama in his campaign to become the next President of the United States.

If the people being interviewed trusted Barack Obama beforehand, they probably don’t trust him much now seeing what they said being taken out of context and used in a way to promote Obama as a better choice for the next President of the United States.

With that kind of underhandedness, come inauguration day, Barack Obama may have more friends in Iran and the Axis of Evil than in Israel.

And to give Senator John McCain fair airtime, take a good look at the video below.

I’m not Latino, however, if I were and I was thinking of voting for Barack Obama, I’d change my vote from watching this video. This video was not shot by some 3rd party company disguising their film as a documentary like the Obama video above.

It looks like the JCER has taken the video offline after many conservative and Jewish visitors. Apparently, their information isn’t up scrutiny.
